Hi! I'm very happy to introduce myself, and hopefully get to know a lot of those who read this! I guess to do this I'll just start at the beginning of my walk with God and go from there. I asked Jesus to be Lord of my life at age 5 after hearing the pastor of our church preach about having Jesus on the throne of our hearts.
I still remember the picture I had at that time of a tiny Jesus sitting on a little throne inside my heart. Even though I didn't completely understand what God had begun in me at the time, in retrospect, it was the greatest thing that could ever have happened to me.
In the years that followed, I endured the divorce of my parents, and their mutual re-marriages (4 step parents in all), with many other hardships and abuses along the way. If I had not had Jesus in my life, I honestly cannot imagine the pain I would still be enduring today. BUT, by the grace of God, I found healing in Jesus. I would be very happy to talk more about this with anyone who asks, so feel free!
I attended Oak Hills Christian College after high school. I earned a BA in Biblical Studies, with an emphasis in counseling and education, and also met my wonderful husband there. We married at the end of my last year of school. We've been married 11 ½ years, and now have 4 terrific children ages 2, 4, 7 and 9. I'm now a stay at home, and home schooling, mom.
I am very excited about what God has in store for His people. I want to see everyone free from whatever is holding them back, and living a life full of the joy of the Lord. I believe that through Jesus Christ, who loves all of us beyond measure, everyone can be FREE and WHOLE!!!!!
